COD4 Downloadable Content will be out in late April

While the maps will be hitting Xbox Live the first week of April, PS3
users will STILL be getting the map packs, however it’ll be a little
later (21 days later approximately) before they’ll be available on PSN
for the same price. Right now plans for the PC version are unannounced
but we are working to bring PC users the same content in the future,
however logistics are being worked out on how to make that happen.

They will also release a patch of minor fixes alongside the DLC.. No more 'joystick' clan..

Activision will be releasing a bunch of maps for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which will all be released next month on PSN and the Marketplace. See the images inside.

40 editors’ choice and game of the year honors, Call of Duty 4: Modern
Warfare is rated “M” (Mature) by the ESRB for Intense Violence, Strong
Language, Blood and Gore. The new downloadable content is scheduled for
release this spring, and will be available on Xbox LIVE® and
PlayStation Network.

Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Game Of The Year Edition

Best Buy seems to have confirmed
what we have all been wondering. Will there be a Game of the Year
edition of Call of Duty 4 on the PS3? Well, the answer is yes.
According to the electronics retailer, the PS3 version with the
Variety Map Pack will be shipping on April 24th, exactly 21 days after
the Xbox 360 maps hit the Xbox Live Marketplace.
If you’re a PS3 owner and are looking to buy CoD4, it would be a good idea to wait a bit to get that extra content for free.
