It’s been confirmed that the next system software update and PSN Store update will take place on April 14th, just in time for those of
us rushing to file our US Income Tax returns to be forced to take a break and try to track down that receipt for that business dinner at the “Thirsty Alligator House of BBQ”. According to playstation.custhelp.com, the PSN store will be upgraded and inaccessible from April 14th at 8:00 am Pacific Standard Time and available again at 11:00 PM that evening. The entire PSN will be unavailable as well during this time frame. Once the PSN is back up and running, a new software upgrade will be available and will be required to use the PSN.

We wait with baited breath and that’s not just because we ate the “All you can stomach” Fish, Fish and more Fish combo at the local Sizzler…Once you get the update and check out the store, please check back and tell us your thoughts.

what time down? that means cannot play online?

Technically its already upgraded since last night was the 14th and by the calculation the update was done at 11pm last night and done by 2am

I'm at work so i can't tell if the PSN is updated already as also i logged out last night before 11pm.

The new store is really nice and fast! Also if you guys trythe web browser its faster and no more pop up about plug in...Awesome update.
